Evie and Amanda helped us get through a very difficult loan modification on our home a year ago. Evie was relentless in finding a solution for us and without Evie and Amanda we would not have been able to keep our home. Evie is diligent at follow up which is a professional skill most individuals lack these days. I was being inundated with offers from other mortgage companies for a VA refinance. I asked Evie to help us navigate this as what I was being told by these other companies was suspicious. Evie went to work and found an option for us to lower our house payments by $300 a month. Although everyone would wish it would be more than that, the reality is in the current environment, that was probably the best we were going to do. Evie prepared all the documentation for the VA loan modification and took the time to walk me through each key point. I am usually lost after the first two or three sentences, but I trusted her as we moved through the information. It came to the last line where it was disclosed that mortgage would be sold, and we would have a new mortgage holder. I said stop, I don't want to move forward with this, I don't want to leave Guild Mortgage because if something comes up and I need questions answered I don't want to be talking to somebody in India, that is marginal with English. I asked her if she would find a solution where we could stay with Guild. I understood that we would probably not get the same rate and the additional savings. The end result is I didn't save $300 a month, I saved $200 a month but I get to stay with Evie and Amanda at Guild Mortgage.
